The South Australian Folk Centre was established in May 2000, and has staged hundreds of events since then. It has excellent acoustics, and is situated less than ten minutes from the city centre. As well as having plenty of off-street parking, it can be reached by numerous bus services, and is located on one of Adelaide's major arterial roads.
